Alicia Cruz is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Podcaster, and private practice owner. She earned a BA in Psychology from Boston University and later earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University. Early in her career, Alicia gained expertise in working with children and families struggling with significant mental health needs in outpatient and school settings. She is certified in Gottman Couples Therapy and IFS (Internal Family Systems), which she incorporates into her daily practice.
The Comfortably Complicated Podcast was created by Alicia following her own divorce. She discusses the blindspots in relationships with her guests and in her own relationship, lessons learned, and how to continue the journey of self-growth. Alicia loves taking dance party breaks throughout her day to keep her energy up and mood lifted and when it’s warm, you can find her catching some sunshine and reading a book!
